Gan Cheng Poh - CEO
A seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in conducting adventure camps in Bintan. Her journey began as an English teacher, but she decided to pursue her passion for inline skating by starting an Inline Skating School with her partner. Over the years, she taught thousands of students in schools, many of whom returned for repeated sessions.
After a decade of success with the skating school, Gan Cheng Poh diversified into adventure camps, offering unique and memorable experiences for participants. Among her many successful camps, she organized a particularly notable one for 900 Singaporean students in a single year, followed by camps for 700 and 800 students in the subsequent years. Typically, these camps range between 120 to 300 participants each, demonstrating her exceptional capability in managing large groups. In 2010, she and her team opened an Inline Skating Rink in Jakarta, where they not only ran the facility but also taught the locals how to manage it. Together with Melvin, she later opened 4 Inline Skating Rinks in Palembang, which unfortunately had to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the pandemic is over, they have reestablished all their contacts in Bintan and are ready to do business again.
Melvin Gaspar - Partner
A dedicated aide to Ms. Gan Cheng Poh for over 10 years, playing a crucial role in the success of many adventure camps in Bintan. His expertise is enhanced by his RSAF Safety Training, reflecting skills gained during his 7 years of service. Melvin's commitment and excellence in his field are further underscored by receiving the RSAF CAF Service Award.
Melvin began his journey with Gan Cheng Poh in 2007 as an Inline Skating Instructor Trainee. Over the years, Ms. Gan mentored him in various aspects of running the skating school, including administrative work, HR, sales, operations, and finance. She then brought him on board as an Outdoor Adventure Camp Instructor, providing comprehensive training in all related fields. Together with her and other team members, Melvin was instrumental in opening the Inline Skating Rink in Jakarta in 2010, where they also taught the locals how to manage the facility.
In 2011, Melvin signed on to RSAF, where he served for 7 years. After leaving RSAF, he partnered with Gan Cheng Poh to open 4 Inline Skating Rinks in Palembang. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of these rinks. Now that the pandemic is over, Melvin and Gan have reestablished their contacts in Bintan and are ready to resume their business ventures.
